About Us
The McClattie Dynasty, a portion of the McClattie family, was created around the late 1920s by the Late, Deacon and Mrs. Joe and Josephine W. McClattie. Now, featuring, "We Are the Dynasty: The Best of Them All," the family takes their name to a whole different level.

Three of the granddaughters gathered together, on one accord, all with one vision, and that vision was an organization involving all the women and girls in the family, for the advancement of the family and strong bondage of the women. Working together, as one, for the advancement and empowerment of STRONG and SUCCESSFUL African American ladies and a family of great bondage and love, they go by the name of, "Josie's Girls." Worshiping one god (God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob), believing in one faith (Christianity), and loving ALL!
~From the poem, "Phenomenal Woman," by Dr. Maya Angelou
"We say,
It's in the reach of our arms
The span of our hips,
The stride of our step,
The curl of our lips.
We are women!
Phenomenally!
Phenomenal women,
That's us!
We say,
It's the fire in our eyes,
And the flash of our teeth,
The swing in our waist,
And the joy in our feet.
We are women!
Phenomenally!
Phenomenal women,
That's us!
We say,
It's in the arch of our back,
The sun of our smiles,
The grace of our styles.
We are women!
Phenomenally!
Phenomenal women!
That's us!
Now you understand
Just why our heads' not bowed.
We don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see us passing
It ought to make you proud.
We say,
It's in the click of our heels,
The bend of our hair,
the palm of our hands,
The need of our care,
'Cause We are women!
Phenomenally!
Phenomenal women!
That's us!"
